Mission Statement:

Appreciating the unlimited potential of high school teens, TAP22 strives to advocate for those individuals by working to develop strategies and concrete plans for creative social alternatives.

Vision:

TAP22 will provide resources for teens to learn about events and possibilities for safe opportunities to express themselves and appreciate each other. TAP22 includes our area churches, high schools, parks, businesses, and other interested individuals in the District 22 community. We will work as a team, invest in the future of our teens, strive to provide real alternatives geared to reveal and enhance the talents and interests of our teens by providing positive and essential growth opportunities.

What we do:

TAP22 connects organizations sponsoring safe teen friendly events and programs in Illinois District 22 with teens mainly through this website. This gives teens an alternative to just going out with no plan or destination. They can tell their parents where they're going and what they're doing.

What we don't do:

TAP22 does not sponsor events or tell organizations in the area how to sponsor their events.
